What is the meaning of the LED's ?

Post by Pablo »

Hello

On the SUB20 there are two LED's.
One is red and one is yellow.
The manual does not say what is their meaning.

Can you please tell me the signification of the LED's and add this information to the manual ?

Thanks
Pablo

Hello

It seems that the answers posted there are either not correct or at least incomplete.

My impression is that the red LED is power.
I saw the yellow LED lighted up permanently (not blinking) due to an error.

I tried to transmit data but forgot to set the flag RS_TX_ENABLE.
In this case the yellow LED lights up permanently.

Why is this information not contained in the manual ?

HI,
The answers are correct.
Red led will be on most of the time. It blinks on receipt of USB configuration request that usually happens only at plug-in time.

Yellow led is on while SUB-20 process request.
Non configured RS232 timing gives you 4sec timeout. That's why you see yellow led on for a long time.
