S-Video

I do not get any picture when connecting the S-Video out from the play unit thru the GREX device to the S-Video in on the recording unit. I do get a picture when using just the normal video connections. My hope was to get an improved recording of the video by using S-Video instead of just the single video connection. Can anyone help me ????

not really got my grex yet still waiting but i will try to help you cause i am a little tech savvy
have u selected the right input on the dvd recorder?
some have line in 1and 2 and so on?
if that doesn't work then maybe the unit is defective

also could be a setting in the vhs player to set the output you want to use

Stupid is as stupid does !! When in doubt, read the instructions. I had to select S-Video out on the play unit. Thanks for the prompt. Dewey
