Wrong Indicator Status light Shown

My indicator status light on the Grex should show a solid red colour when I'm recording a protected movie. Instead it shows a solid red followed by two yellow blinks, repeatedly.

Anybody else have that problem? And was it resolved?

Forgot to indicate that I'm assuming the freezing and skipping in the copy made is a result of the Grex not operating with the correct Indicator Status light pattern.

It looks like I resolved the problem. I'm using a different source dvd player (Panasonic) to play the original. My previous source DVD player was Pioneer.
My Sony DVD recorder seems to be compatible with the Panasonic DVD player so that the copy no longer shows signs of freezing and skipping after a recording.

The Indicator Status Light on the Grex does seems to show different types of patterns and not the instructed solid red light for a protected source; so I'm still in the woods with that regard but the principal thing is that the freezing and skipping in the recorded copy appears to be gone.
